The Lion King Kids production at Lomond’s Little Theater was a roaring success!

The circle of life was brought to the stage at the Lomond Little Theater production of The Lion King this winter. It was exciting to have Lomond selected as one of only four schools in this year’s Disney in Residency program, hosted by Playhouse Square’s Community Outreach Program.  The Shaker Schools Foundation proudly helped make this production a reality, providing snacks for rehearsals, funding for costumes, and assisting with production costs. Our students were able to shine brightly, showing their incredible talents and creativity in front of an appreciative audience.

Our third, fourth, and fifth graders showcased their talent after the performance at the Ohio Theater, singing a heartfelt rendition of “He Lives in You.” 

The Shaker Schools Foundation is proud to be part of empowering our students. We are excited to continue supporting this kind of opportunity that allows our students to explore their talents and become confident on and off the stage.
