Your gift to the Innovation Fund supports STEAM initiatives that provide hands-on learning experiences in science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics.
Examples of projects and initiatives supported by the Innovation Fund include:

Machining & Manufacturing Pathways – SSF purchased state-of-the-art equipment for a new classroom at Shaker Heights High School serving engineering career pathways
Elementary Design Labs – SSF purchased equipment for three dedicated design labs at Boulevard, Lomond and Woodbury to promote hands-on learning and exploration
MotoGo – SSF supports a hands-on, after school program for students to learn about and assemble motorcycles at the Middle School and High SchoolÂ
Woodshop Design Course – SSF supports a program for students at the middle school to build bookshelves to hold books for kindergarten students in the District
