On Thursday, February 24, 2022 at 7:30 pm ET, Carter Bays, Class of 1993, will share his experiences navigating the world of television and how he came to co-create the popular sitcom, How I Met Your Mother. The sitcom garnered a huge following over its nine seasons and won ten Emmys. Most recently, Carter executive produced the companion series, How I Met Your Father, starring Hilary Duff, which will premiere on Hulu in January 2022. He is releasing his debut novel, The Mutual Friend, in June 2022. Carter was inducted into the Shaker Schools Alumni Hall of Fame in 2020. 

This event will take place via Zoom. Participants can choose to attend at no cost or for a suggested donation of $20 per household with proceeds benefiting the Shaker Heights High School Theatre Arts Department.
