A NIGHT FOR THE RED & WHITE: A VIRTUAL EVENT

SATURDAY, MARCH 6, 2021, 8 PM (EST)

(REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED)

A Night for the Red & White has been a special Shaker community tradition for 28 years. This year, our annual fundraiser to benefit the Shaker City Schools will be virtual! It will look different, but the goal is the same: To raise funds in support of each and every student in the Shaker City Schools.  Now more than ever, we must come together as a community for our Shaker students!

PARTY FOR A CAUSE: Launching the New Educational Equity Fund

This year’s event will help launch the Education Equity Fund, to support key District-wide diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. To read more about the new Educational Equity Fund, visit shakerschoolsfoundation.org/donate.

The Shaker Schools Foundation invites philanthropic support from individuals, corporations, and foundations to support these important programs and initiatives. To contribute to the Educational Equity Fund, or for more information, visit contact Holly Coughlin, Executive Director of the Shaker Schools Foundation at coughlin_h@shaker.org or 216.295.4325.

OUR VIRTUAL EVENT WILL INCLUDE:
  • Pre-show STUDENT SHOWCASE and post-show BREAKOUT ROOMS
  • STUDENT performances and art
  • Two amazing RAFFLE PACKAGES
  • Bidding on unique SILENT AUCTION items
  • Illustrious Shaker ALUMNI appearances

SPECIAL TRIBUTE:

Join us in honoring our founding MAC Scholars Advisors, Mrs. Mary Lynne McGovern, and Mr. Hubert McIntryre. As this groundbreaking minority achievement program celebrates its 30th anniversary, hear from some of our MAC Scholars Alumni as they thank the advisors who guided them on their path. Widely emulated by schools all over the country, the program was initiated by high-achieving African-American male students in 1990 and continues to be led by high-achieving juniors and seniors.
