SHAKER’S HOME RUN, Adam Grossman!

Wednesday, April 26, 7-9 pm

District Gallery in the Van Aken District, 20076 Walker Rd, Shaker Heights, OH 44122

Join us for a wonderful evening with proud Shaker Alum, Adam Grossman, Class of 1998. In a unique question-and-answer Shaker Speaks format, Adam will be sharing his road from intern to Executive Vice President / Chief Marketing Officer, with Boston Red Sox & Fenway Sports Management.  Adam is described as the “conscience of the Red Sox”, by the team’s president and CEO Sam Kennedy.

Funds raised will support literacy initiatives in honor of Adam’s mom, Sheri Grossman. For many years Sheri was a reading specialist at Fernway Elementary. She was recognized for her passion and dedication and made a huge difference for her students.

Adam is a 2002 cum laude graduate of Duke University with a degree in public policy, and one of eight members selected to the 2014 Eisenhower Fellowships program, chaired by General Colin L. Powell. While at Duke, he co-founded a student-led organization to improve the Durham Bulls Youth League and spearheaded a $450,000 renovation project to refurbish two baseball fields in Durham’s inner city.

Grossman and his wife, Candy Hannemann, have two daughters, Stella and Luiza.

Cocktails and light refreshments will be served.
